Naoki Yoshida expresses the desire to see many Xbox users in the game

Final Fantasy XIV Online, after 11 years since its redeemed release (and 14 years since its original release) will finally arrive on Xbox, and the key figures behind the project have just revealed when users of this brand can enjoy it.

At the end of 2023, the game's team led by the creative and producer Naoki Yoshida announced that the Xbox Series X|S version would be available in early 2024, specifically between January and February.

When will the Final Fantasy XIV Online Beta be released?

Well, as part of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2024, currently taking place in Tokyo, Japan, Yoshida took the opportunity to narrow down the open Beta release window, supposed to be available in February 2024.

That's not all, as Yoshida went further and confessed that the tentative date Square Enix is internally considering is February 21, although he made it clear that this might change, and the date could shift a bit.

In any case, these are excellent news for Xbox series fans, as they will finally be able to play one of the latest mainline entries in the series, known for being exclusive to PlayStation.

"I hope to encounter many Xbox players as Warriors of Light in the game," expressed Yoshida.

It's worth noting that the Xbox version will feature fast loading times thanks to the console's SSD and can run in *4K on the more powerful console. The final version is expected to be officially available sometime in the next spring.
