According to his sources, the event will take place the week of January 14. While he did not reveal a specific date, he said he is absolutely certain that the Developer Direct will happen on a day during that week.
Zantorn preferred not to talk about a possible surprise release, as it seems he is not sure of such information. With this, there are now several sources claiming that Xbox will have an event sometime this month, so it only seems a matter of waiting for confirmation.
“First Xbox event of the year is going to be the week of the 14th, can’t speak on the shadow drop rumors but the date has now been set in stone,” said the insider.
