Arcane, the series inspired by the world of League of Legends, surprised everyone with its excellent animation and emotional story. As we approach the official release of Season 2, Riot Games thrilled fans who were eager to see more content from the TV show in the free-to-play MOBA.
The success of the first season was reflected in the video game. Jinx, Caitlyn, Vi, Firelight Ekko, and Jayce received special skins, while some characters experienced a significant increase in popularity in matches due to their participation in the Netflix animated series.
With the premiere of the new episodes approaching, Riot Games plans to include more Arcane-inspired content. And yes, that includes a new playable character.

From Arcane to League of Legends: Ambessa Medarda will be a champion in the MOBA
This week, the development studio shared a very extensive video discussing the news and changes coming to League of Legends throughout 2024. There, they took the opportunity to share a new and cool trailer for the new season of the TV show.
Riot Games also confirmed that Ambessa Medarda, an original character introduced in Arcane, will make the leap to the free-to-play MOBA and become a champion that is "not for the faint of heart." Unfortunately, the developers refrained from revealing the skill set and the release date.
Ambessa Medarda won't be the next character to join the selectable roster. That honor belongs to Smolder, a very cute and friendly dragon. Additionally, the studio hinted that players can expect a new Vastayan mage. We'll have to wait to see the Noxian Warlord in action.
Fortunately, this original character won't be the only thing from the world of Arcane coming to League of Legends in 2024 and beyond. Riot Games confirmed that, to celebrate the Season 2 premiere, they will release updates with "new skins and some more surprises."

But tell us, which other characters from the Netflix series would you like to see in the free-to-play game? Let us know in the comments.
