Apple has not overlooked the success of gaming as a business. Beyond Apple Arcade, the Cupertino company has understood the need to have some kind of involvement outside of mobile devices. The new generation of iPhone, iPad, and Mac comes with hardware ready to deploy AAA current-generation video games, and one of the most anticipated ones is Death Stranding. However, users won't see it this year.
Death Stranding delayed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac
Death Stranding for iPhone, iPad, and Mac was one of the video games announced with great fanfare at an Apple event where the company confirmed its interest in having a greater presence in gaming. The version of the game by Kojima Productions for PC and mobile devices is handled by 505 Games, and the original plan was for the title to debut on Apple platforms this year.
However, with a few days left in 2023 and questions arising about the release of Death Stranding for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, 505 Games revealed that the release would be delayed.

When will Death Stranding debut on iPhone, iPad, and Mac?
According to the publisher, the version of Death Stranding for iPhone, iPad, and Mac needs more time to ensure a successful launch under optimal quality conditions. Hence, the decision to postpone it. Despite the unfortunate news, 505 Games maintained hope of seeing it soon on Apple devices, stating that they are working towards a release in early 2024. So, it might only be a few weeks before Kojima's game arrives on a new platform.
In recent news, Hideo Kojima revealed that he wants to work for his entire life, seeing the creative process as more than just a professional job for earning money; it is everything to him. So, the Japanese genius will be around for a while.
