On X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, other users joked that they will have to wait a whole year to play Grand Theft Auto 6, so they are afraid of losing their lives before knowing the story of Jason and Lucia.
"I will do my best not to die before the release of GTA 6," commented one fan. "Whatever you do, please make sure not to die before 2025," said another. "I'm going to start wearing this every day so I don't die before GTA 6," assured a third, referring to a military protection suit.
The excitement for the upcoming installment in the open-world franchise is real. The reveal trailer accumulated millions of views on YouTube in less than 24 hours, making it poised to surpass BTS's record and make history on the video platform.
Meanwhile, a developer at Rockstar Games expressed their displeasure with the leak that ruined the scheduled announcement for Tuesday, December 5. On the other hand, some lamented that GTA 6 will be absent on PC when the console versions debut in 2025.
