Through a statement, Sam Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games, spoke about the presentation of GTA 6 and its implications for the studio and the series. The executive assured that it is an ambitious project that seeks to take open-world games to a new level.
“GTA VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences. We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere," said Houser.
On the other hand, Rockstar reminded gamers that it is celebrating its 25th anniversary, so the game's reveal is very important to its history and its developers. It also stated that GTA 6 will be "the biggest and most immersive evolution of the series" so far.
