You may recall that last August SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! was announced,the new 3D game in the franchise, the first in 25 years. The trailer was mainly a cinematic sequence with brief seconds of gameplay, but today we finally got to see how the gameplay system will work and some of the characters' abilities.
According to the new details, the player will take control of a new kid in town and can join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny in a role-playing game they organized after classes were canceled due to a heavy snowfall.
How will SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! be played?
The title will be multiplayer, meaning it can be played with up to 3 other people in local or online mode. Thanks to the new gameplay trailer, we can see the variety of weapons that will be at their disposal and will be very useful to defend the kingdom from an elf attack.
Additionally, there will be an ability to heal fallen comrades and an emergency one for when it's necessary to flee from combat. You can see the new trailer below.
When will SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! be released?
Unfortunately, this new occasion was not used to reveal a release date, so fans must wait until sometime in 2024 to play this new adventure.
The title is developed by Question Games, will be published by THQ Nordic, and will cost $29.99 USD when it debuts in 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
