Voice actor of Solid Snake reveals chilling Hollywood anecdote

David Hayter worked with a person today accused of a heinous crime

David Hayter is known in the world of video games for his excellent voice acting as Solid Snake in most of the Metal Gear Solid installments. However, outside of gaming, he is also an actor with involvement in film and TV and is no stranger to the scandals that arise in the entertainment industry. Recently, Hayter revealed a chilling anecdote related to a heinous crime.

David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake, worked in Hollywood with a suspect in a terrible crime

Through a post on his Twitter account | X, David Hayter commented on a terrible piece of news from Encino, California, which reports the discovery of trash bags containing human body parts. The suspect in this murder is Samuel Haskell, who was arrested and presented to the authorities. Ironically starting with the phrase "if anyone is curious about what it's like to work in Hollywood," David Hayter revealed that he worked for 3 months with the suspect to secure the film rights to intellectual property, without realizing what kind of person he was.

Later, David Hayter noted that the project fell apart because they couldn't legally register it, so the working relationship did not continue. In this regard, new reports indicate that the suspect is the son of Sam Haskell Sr., who was a powerful talent agent decades ago.

Currently, David Hayter has caught the attention of Metal Gear Solid fans due to the possibility of him voicing Big Boss in the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This comes after his appearance in Konami's promotional material for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, stating that "this is only the beginning."

It's worth remembering that David Hayter did not participate in the latest game in the series directed by Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes | The Phantom Pain. This detail was heavily criticized by fans, but according to the Japanese creator, it was in line with the game's concept and the new deception he had in mind.
