As recent reports assured, the official reveal of Grand Theft Auto VI is on its way. This was confirmed by Rockstar this morning through several messages on its social networks. The company assured that it will soon celebrate its 25th anniversary, so it's the ideal time to show off its next project.
The studio took the opportunity to thank the entire community for their support over the years. It also revealed what many wanted to know: when the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI will be shown.
When will the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI debut?
It is not known if Rockstar is preparing some sort of teaser of the game for this week, as reports claim. However, it confirmed part of the information revealed by Jason Schreier, journalist of Bloomberg: the first trailer of the title will arrive next month.
To be more precise, Rockstar confirmed that it will release the trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI in early December, on a date to be confirmed. Because of this, fans believe the announcement will be made at The Game Awards 2023, which will take place on December 7.
"In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution..
"We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you," Rockstar wrote.
