Unfortunately, tragedy has once again shaken the entertainment industry. In recent days, the news of the untimely death of Taraja Ramsess, a talented stunt double who appeared in Marvel movies and other productions, has come to light. Sadly, three of his children also lost their lives in a car accident.
On Halloween night, the vehicle carrying Taraja Ramsess and his children collided with a disabled tractor-trailer on the Interstate in DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. Firefighters and rescue personnel rushed to the scene after receiving a report of the accident.
Tragically, the stunt double lost his life at the age of 41 as a result of the crash, along with his 13-year-old daughter Sundari and his 8-week-old newborn daughter Fujibo. According to the report, his 3-year-old son Shazia and 10-year-old son Kisasi survived the impact and were hospitalized. Unfortunately, it was later reported that Kisasi had also passed away.
Akili Ramsess, Taraja Ramsess's mother, confirmed the sad news on Instagram. She announced that her son and two of her grandchildren had lost their lives in the accident, and in a subsequent post, she shared the heartbreaking news of Kisasi's passing at the tender age of 10.
"Everyone who knew Taraja knows how special he was. He had a deep capacity to love, and he loved his children more than anyone. He loved his martial arts, motorcycles, and everything related to film. He had a very funny but twisted sense of humor and yet could be as cheesy as one can be," Akili Ramsess commented in an Instagram post.
Taraja Ramsess served as a stunt double in Marvel films such as Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. He also appeared in DC Comics productions, including Black Adam, The Suicide Squad, and Constantine.
At LEVEL UP, we mourn the passing of Taraja Ramsess and extend our condolences to his loved ones and associates. We hope the stunt double and actor finds peace in his final rest.
