Sources claim that a key executive has left the company

It seems that things are not going well at all within PlayStation. After several waves of layoffs, there are now reports about the departure of a very important executive from the company. We are referring to Connie Booth, who has been head of production at PlayStation for 34 years.

According to David Jaffe, creator of God of War, Booth recently left the company. The developer stated that sources inside and outside PlayStation revealed to him that the creative and part of her team are no longer part of the company. The report does not confirm whether she was fired or resigned.

On the other hand, Jaffe claims that Angie Smets, who has been part of Guerrilla Games for 2 decades, will take Booth's place. Jaffe assured that he has not been able to confirm all the information; however, he emphasized that he trusts his sources.

As of this writing, PlayStation has not mentioned anything about Booth's alleged departure and Smets' promotion. On the other hand, the creatives involved have also not spoken on the matter.
