Rumors surrounding Nintendo Switch 2 don't seem to be slowing down. A new source has shared the alleged price, release date, and more details about the hardware. The source aligns with other reports, stating that the system will arrive next year. What's interesting is that it provided new information, such as the existence of various console models.
More Alleged Details About Nintendo Switch 2 Leak
According to Discord user SoldierDelta (via Wccftech), Nintendo Switch 2 will reportedly debut in the late stages of 2024, specifically on September 24. It mentions that there's also a possibility the release might be pushed to November 2024.
The most interesting part of the report is that the successor to the Switch will allegedly have 2 models: a standard one with physical game support, priced at $499 USD, and another entirely digital model, offered at $400 USD.
Finally, it pointed out that the console's codename is "NG," referring to a new generation, but there are no hints about the final name the hardware will carry.
Previously, SoldierDelta shared insider information about various projects on The Snitch's Discord server, one of the most recognized insiders in recent months. Despite this, it's important to treat the report as a mere rumor, as Nintendo has not confirmed anything about its plans for the future beyond the Switch.
