PAYDAY 3 is just around the corner, and Starbreeze wants you to know that the excitement doesn't end with its release. That's why the studio has decided to share its post-launch plans for its heist game.
According to Starbreeze, PAYDAY 3 will receive at least 4 downloadable content (DLC) packs as part of its Year One content plan, which, as you can imagine, is scheduled to debut over the next 12 months.
The post-launch content plans for PAYDAY 3 are as follows:
DLC 1 ― Syntax Error (Winter 2023)
DLC 2 ― Boys in Blue (Spring 2024)
DLC 3 ― The Land of the Free (Summer 2024)
DLC 4 ― Fear and Greed (Fall 2024)
Among PAYDAY 3's post-launch plans are also the introduction of seasonal events, new playable characters, more enemies, additional weapons, cosmetics, quality of life improvements, and new features. There will also be updates to Unreal Engine 5.
PAYDAY 3 Introduces Pearl and Joy
Furthermore, Starbreeze has confirmed that PAYDAY 3 will introduce 2 new heisters from its launch. These are Pearl and Joy, characters who will join Dallas and the crew in their upcoming heists.
You might already be familiar with Joy, as she made her debut in PAYDAY 2 for Nintendo Switch. On the other hand, Pearl is a completely new heister and arrives as an expert swindler and infiltrator.
