David Jaffe, creator of God of War, praised Starfield after playing it for a few hours. Now that the creative has advanced much further in his game, he is convinced that the RPG is one of his favorite titles in his entire history as a gamer.
For such reason, he used his social networks to strongly recommend Bethesda's title. He asked the community to put aside the console war and criticism to give Starfield as much of a chance as possible.

Jaffe invited all gamers to enjoy Starfield, even if they don't have an Xbox. He stated that fans of the medium should at least give the game a chance, especially since there is the possibility to enjoy it on Xbox Game Pass.
He also mentioned that Xbox Cloud Gaming is a good alternative to play the RPG, which he described as one of his favorite titles ever.
"I'm console agnostic, y'all know that. A great game is a great game. I say this because if you love games as well and don't have an XBOX, you owe it to yourself to get Game Pass for a month and try out Starfield (even if just using cloud). It is easily one of my top 3 games of all time," the creative stated.
Subsequently, he asked the community to put aside the console war, as he considers it the worst pretext to miss out on the space RPG. Many gamers celebrated the developer's statements, as they agree with his point of view.
"Now your millage will vary of course, but if in the past you've found yourself realizing your taste and mine is similar enough, don't let this childish console 'war' nonsense keep you away from this brilliant thing. If you love 1p action adventures, you owe it to yourself," Jaffe added.
