Nintendo had a surprise in store for this morning's Nintendo Direct because, as rumors claimed, the company will be launching a new Nintendo Switch OLED to celebrate the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Below, we share with you all the details of this interesting hardware that is on its way.

The Nintendo Switch - OLED Model: Mario Red Edition is an all-red console, so the system, its base and its controls will feature Mario's iconic color.
The base is decorated on the back with the silhouette of the charismatic character and also has hidden details inside: the classic coins of the franchise.
This eye-catching console will be available worldwide on October 6 and will retail for $349.99 USD. Its presale is expected to start soon in all regions.
