As scheduled, Nintendo did a Direct today to show in more depth Super Mario Bros. Wonder, one of the most important Switch releases of the year. During the presentation, it gave us an interesting glimpse into the story, world and history of this new installment.

Mario and company will have a new adventure in Flower Kingdom, where once again Bowser will do his thing. The villain will gain powers thanks to a mysterious flower that the plumber will also use to his advantage to gain new powers.
The mysterious object is called Wonder Flower, which will generate quite curious moments during the games. In addition, the Flower Kingdom will be full of new elements that will give freshness to the levels, where we will explore forests, caves, snowy areas, volcanoes and more.
In addition, there will be open areas where players will have the freedom to choose the level they want to complete next. In addition to Mario, it will be possible to play with Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Toad and Toadette.
There will also be characters, such as Yoshi, who will not take damage and will have special abilities for less experienced players. As expected, there will be new power ups such as Mario the elephant, another to attack with bubbles and one to have a drill in the head and explore in new ways.
The interesting thing is that the elephant transformation will not be exclusive to Mario, as all characters will have their respective animal form. There will also be badges that can be equipped to earn some special moves that will facilitate progress in some levels. They can be obtained through special challenges or by buying them in the in-game stores.
Of course, the title can be enjoyed with other players in local and online multiplayer modes. It will be possible to complete levels together or compete in modes such as Friend Races.
