According to leaker billbil-kun, the company is getting ready to launch a new wireless controller for its consoles, PC and mobile devices. The source revealed almost all the details of the peripheral, so we already know its estimated release date, price and details about its design.
Astral Purple would be the new Xbox controller
The new Xbox controller would be called Astral Purple, which already gives us a clear clue about its design. The leaker hasn't shared an image of the product for now, but he used Xbox Design Lab to create a similar controller and give us an idea of what the new peripheral will look like.
The purple controller would hit stores next September 19 and its official reveal is expected to be a few days earlier. On the other hand, it is estimated to be priced at $64.99 USD. The controller could have a special design pattern, but there is no information about it.
Velocity Green and Electric Volt have been some of the most recent Xbox controllers, along with the Starfield special edition controller. It is important to clarify that Xbox has not confirmed the existence of Astral Purple, but it is worth noting that billbil-kun's leaks have always been accurate.
