Everything suggests that a long-awaited announcement of the saga is approaching

Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world; however, it doesn't have a version that takes advantage of the full potential of current consoles. This could change soon, as a leak hinted at some interesting new features for the game. Xbox users are excited, as everything indicates that Minecraft will finally have a native version for Xbox X|S Series.

Native version of Minecraft for Xbox Series X|S could be coming soon

Xbox Series X|S users can enjoy Minecraft without issue, but the game runs through Xbox One backward compatibility. So, there is no native version of the title that takes advantage of the full potential of the current-generation hardware.

On the other hand, we know that the popular titledoes not have a dedicated PlayStation 5 version because of Sony, as it refused to send development kits for its console to Microsoft.

With that said, you should know that classification of a possible version of Minecraft for Xbox Series X|S was recently found. The reference appeared in the system of the German agency Entertainment Software Self-Regulation (USK).

While there are no further details, there is speculation that this version could feature ray tracing, a feature Microsoft showed in a 2020 test. Due to this finding, it is believed that the Xbox Series X|S title could be announced soon.

The reality is that for now nothing is confirmed, so it will be best to wait a few days to find out if it is a revelation scheduled for gamescom 2023 or a mistake on the part of the classification agency.
