The studio also shared another surprise, as it revealed the date for players to start pre-loading this long-awaited space adventure.

Through its social networks, Bethesda confirmed that Starfield reached its Gold stage. What does this mean? That its development is finally complete and that the studio already has a master copy of the game that it will use for mass production and digital distribution.
This is excellent news for the community, especially since there were gamers who feared a last-minute delay which, fortunately, will not become a reality. Bethesda wants its fans to be ready for this epic adventure, so it will release the game's pre-load very soon.
Players will be able to start downloading the title on Xbox Series X|S and Windows Store for PC starting tomorrow, August 17. On the other hand, Steam users will have access to the preload until August 30.
This way, everyone will be able to download most of the game's data in advance and thus be able to enjoy it as soon as it is released. As you can imagine, many Bethesda fans celebrated the news and congratulated the studio for concluding the development of the ambitious title.
