This weekend not only saw EVO 2023 but also the special summer broadcast of Granblue Fantasy, which Cygames used to celebrate with the community of the series. Many were hoping for updates on Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but once again, they were left waiting.
The event concluded without any major announcements regarding either Granblue Fantasy: Relink or Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
This is highly disappointing for the fans who have been eagerly anticipating Granblue Fantasy: Relink, primarily because the wait has been extremely long, and the next major series event is scheduled for December 2023.
However, before you get disheartened, you should know that Cygames has just promised a new surprise event scheduled for September 16 at 3:00 AM (Mexico City time).
Will Granblue Fantasy: Relink be released in 2023?
According to the details, the event will focus on both titles and will include a recap of the information about the 2 games that was shared in August, as well as "fresh news."
With that said, there is a possibility that this new information might include the long-awaited release date of Granblue Fantasy: Relink, so fans might not have to wait until Granblue Fantasy Fes 2023.
Remember that Granblue Fantasy: Relink still does not have a release date. Cygames had previously stated that the game would be ready in 2023, but a few months ago, they detailed that the release would be in winter 2023, a way of saying that the title might not arrive until 2024.
