Last year, SNK pleasantly surprised its longtime fans by announcing that Fatal Fury would be returning with a completely new installment. News has been scarce, but SNK is still working on the project, and as evidence of that, they released a new trailer showcasing the game in action, which seems to confirm the first characters that will be part of the fighter roster.
During this weekend's EVO 2023, the biggest annual competitive fighting games event, SNK took the opportunity to share a new trailer for the project and reveal its official name: Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

But that's not all. In the new trailer, it is possible to catch a glimpse of what appears to be the game's minimap and some of the locations where battles will take place, such as Geese Tower, National Park, Abandoned Dojo, South Town Airport, Live House "Old Line," and the Factory.
Something interesting is that along with these locations, you can hear some lines of dialogue from what seem to be certain fighters who will appear in the game. According to fans, they can hear voices from Rock Howard, Andy Bogard, Mai Shiranui, B. Jenet, Billy, Marco, Hotaru, Tizoc, Billy Kain, and Terry Bogard.
Additionally, they took the opportunity to showcase for the first time the 3D models of some fighters from the game, like Terry Bogard and Rock Howard.
