The Microsoft brand is going all out for the European market

After the challenging process of acquiring Activision Blizzard, Microsoft and Xbox are practically on the other side, and now it's time to focus on releases and advance in important markets. A clear example of this is what the brand will have in store for gamescom 2023, as a recent announcement is causing excitement.

Xbox aims to make a splash at gamescom 2023

Xbox is going all out to win over the European audience during its participation in gamescom 2023. Not only has Microsoft's presence been confirmed, but the brand will also showcase some significant games at the event, and the best part is that attendees will be able to play them. According to information from Insider-Gaming, Xbox will have gaming stations at gamescom 2023 with advanced versions of Forza Motorsport, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Towerborne, an action-adventure RPG from Stoic, the creators of Banner Saga.

While Forza Motorsport already has a release date set for October 10, 2023, the presence of S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl has ignited hype as the conflict between Ukraine and Russia has impacted GSC Game World, and the release date for this title remains uncertain. On the other hand, it's also great news that Towerborne will be available to play since it's a title scheduled for release next year.

It seems that Xbox won't miss the opportunity to show the European market that the most significant releases of its current generation are just around the corner, and gamescom 2023 will be an excellent platform to showcase them in that market. gamescom 2023 will take place from August 23 to 27 in Cologne, Germany.
