Will the war against cheaters ever end? Probably not, but Activision will keep trying. The company has now decided to crack down on cheaters with a new wave of bans that affected thousands of players.
According to information from DotEsports, on July 28th, Activision carried out a new wave of bans in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. This resulted in the termination of 14,000 accounts that were detected cheating.
An important point to note is that for these bans, Activision apparently targeted cheat creators and software hosting sites. Users of services like InterWebz and Engine Owning were affected by the punishment and noticed it when trying to log in to their accounts.

This season will include new content such as more maps, weapons, and operators, and will be available from August 2nd. Remember that this season will also feature the reveal of the new Call of Duty.
