2023 still has many important releases and some of them will be released directly on subscription services. This morning, Sabotage Studio surprised with new information about its expected game Sea of Stars, an RPG inspired by the classics of the genre.
There is good news for PlayStation users, as it was confirmed that the game will be a day 1 release on PlayStation Plus. In addition, Sabotage Studio has just released a demo of Sea of Stars for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Sea of Stars to debut on PS Plus and confirms new demo
Via the PlayStation Blog, Sabotage Studio confirmed that Sea of Stars will be part of the PlayStation Plus catalog from its release. The RPG will be available to players with an Extra and Premium subscription.
So, it will be enough for those interested in the title to have an active subscription to enjoy it on PS5 and PS4 next August 29. The studio assured that the service will help them reach more players during the release. It is worth remembering that the game is also already confirmed for Xbox Game Pass.
On the other hand, PS4 and PS5 users can already get a sneak peek of the game before its debut. This is thanks to Sabotage Studio releasing a demo for both consoles. The trial version will serve to get to know the basic mechanics and a part of the RPG world.
Players will be able to enjoy exciting combat and learn about dungeon exploration. Sabotage Studio explained that the demo takes place in one of the game's final zones, but made sure not to reveal details that would somehow ruin the main story.
Finally, he warned that the test version does not show Sea of Stars in its final state, as they are still working on some adjustments. Despite this, the demo will give players a genuine taste of what the RPG will offer when it debuts.
Sea of Stars comes to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on launch day Aug 29.
