The world of basketball has had few legends like Kobe Bryant. That's why 2K Sports decided to pay him a well-deserved tribute by making him the cover athlete of NBA 2K24.
According to the official announcement, Kobe Bryant will be the star basketball player featured on the cover of NBA 2K24. Players will find him on the cover of the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition and the Black Mamba Edition.

Who was Kobe Bryant?
In case you're not aware, Kobe Bryant was a legendary basketball player who left his mark in the history of the sport. He played 20 seasons in the NBA, all of them as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bryant is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time for good reason. Throughout his career, he won 5 NBA championships and was a 2-time NBA Finals MVP. He also won 2 gold medals with the United States national team. Furthermore, he ranks fourth on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
Sadly, Kobe Bryant passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 41. This was the result of a helicopter accident that claimed the lives of 8 other individuals, including his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Maria.
