While the major mid-year presentations like E3 have already taken place, there are companies that still plan to join the summer of announcements with their own events. One of them is Limited Run Games, which has just confirmed its event.
The company specialized in the distribution of games in physical format has organized an annual event during the non-E3 season in recent years, called Limited Run Games LRG3 Showcase.
Although it seemed that there wouldn't be an edition in 2023, the truth is that the event is coming back and it already has a date.
When will the Limited Run Games event be held?
Limited Run Games confirmed that LRG Showcase 2023 is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12th at 2:00 PM (Mexico City time) and can be watched through their official Twitch or YouTube channel.
The company didn't provide many details about what fans can expect from the event, although they anticipated that the announcement of over 20 games in digital or physical format will be made, so internet users who hope to see a physical edition of a title won't want to miss the event.
While Limited Run Games has primarily partnered with indie studios, they have also collaborated with major companies like Konami and Ubisoft to release physical copies or collector's editions of digital titles. That being said, we shouldn't rule out the presence of a project from larger companies.
