Control used in the lost submarine Titan is now sold out on Amazon

The Logitech controller caught the world's attention after the disappearance of the submersible.

The world's attention is focused on Titan, the submarine that descended last week and has failed to resurface. One intriguing aspect of the submersible is that it was controlled by a controller that was released for sale in 2010. As expected, the controller has become popular again and was put on sale.

As we informed you a few days ago, the crew of Titan was able to control it using the wireless Logitech G F710 controller in gray, which drew criticism for being used in a critical dive of over 3,000 meters.

Titan's controller went on sale and sold out

While the search for Titan continues nearly 4 days after contact was lost with the surface, the world is still talking about the mysterious case and its connection to the 2010 controller.

In fact, there has been so much interest in this device that it was discounted on Amazon this week, as reported by the specialized deals account videogamedeals, reducing its price from $49.99 USD to $29.99 USD.

However, at the time of publishing this note, the controller is no longer available on Amazon. Nevertheless, the controller can still be found on Amazon Mexico, but it is not on sale, and its price is high: $1,145 MXN ($66.74 USD).

The company responsible for the Titanic expedition and specialized in submarines, OceanGate, was in charge of manufacturing the Titan submarine, with its control operated by the crew who could perform basic maneuvers using the Logitech G F710 controller with customized joystick pairs. According to some hypotheses, it is believed that the submarine may have had communication failures or that the controller may have been disconnected, preventing the crew from having control over the submersible.
