Store leaks possible release date for Silent Hill 2 remake; could arrive this year

Could Bloober Team's project be just around the corner?

Silent Hill 2 is a legendary horror game, which is why its remake is one of the most anticipated games in development. We still don't know how long we'll have to wait to play it, but new information suggests that it's close.

It turns out that GorillaGaming, a video game store in Australia, updated its Silent Hill 2 product page and indicated that its expected release date is September 29th, 2023. Considering that September 29th is a Friday and that AAA games usually come out on that day, it's not unreasonable to think that Silent Hill 2 could debut on that date. That being said, there's always the possibility that it's an error or simply a temporary date.

We remind you that, so far, Konami has not provided a release window for the Silent Hill 2 remake. Therefore, we don't know how far along this project is. What we do know is that it has been in development since 2019, so this year will mark 4 years since its inception.

What about you? Do you think we'll see Silent Hill 2 before the end of the year? Let us know in the comments.
