Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was one of the main attractions of the inaugural Summer Game Fest 2023 hosted by Geoff Keighley. Although fans couldn't enjoy a new gameplay trailer, Insomniac Games shared new information about the game's editions and pre-order bonuses.
On the event stage, the development studio confirmed that the new adventure of Peter Parker and Miles Morales will arrive on PS5 on October 20th. In a post on PlayStation's official blog, they revealed more information about the content that will be included in the different versions of the game. And yes, they announced that there will be a collector's edition that will include a statue.
MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN 2 REVEALS ITS SPECIAL EDITIONS
First, players who pre-order the open-world title will receive the Arachknight suit with 3 color variants for Peter Parker, the Shadow Spider Suit with 3 additional colors for Miles Morales, a Web Grabber, and 3 skill points to redeem in the progression tree.
Insomiac Games confirmed that the standard version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will cost $69.99 USD. Next, they announced that the Digital Deluxe Edition will have a price of $79.99 and will include all the pre-order bonuses, 10 suits (5 for each character), extra frames and stickers for the Photo Mode, and 2 additional skill points.
Finally, the developers confirmed that the collector's edition costs $229.99 USD and includes all the pre-order incentives, a code to download the Deluxe Edition, a Steelbook, and, most importantly, a 19-inch Venom figure. It is worth noting that pre-orders for all editions will begin on Friday, June 16th.

At Summer Game Fest 2023, Insomniac Games confirmed that Miles Morales and Peter Parker are playable characters, and fans will be able to play with each one in key moments of the campaign or in the open world. They also revealed that Lizard, Kraven, and Venom will be some of the villains the spider duo will have to face.
