These experiences will be sold as a package called LISA: Definitive Edition, which will be available from July 18th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
This re-release will also have new features such as additional enemies, more boss battles, additional missions, new stories with multiple endings, and improved battle systems. Additionally, it will feature an easy mode, an option to play at 120 fps, localization in 12 additional languages, and other secrets.
At this time, it is unknown how much LISA: Definitive Edition will cost. We will keep you informed when we know more about this release.
In case you don't know, LISA: The Painful is an independent RPG developed by Dingaling Productions, a studio based in the United States. The game debuted in December 2014 and has since become a cult title.
But what makes LISA: The Painful special? The game takes its inspiration from Mother and Yume Nikki to create a brutal and depressing experience. You follow the story of a broken man living in a post-apocalyptic world that is immensely cruel. Along the way, you will have to make decisions that will impact you by forcing you to sacrifice one of your limbs, a friend, or all of your items.
What do you think of this news? Will you give LISA a chance when it arrives on consoles? Let us know in the comments.
