A new Spider-Man live-action movie starring Miles Morales was recently confirmed. As soon as the news broke, fans of the arachnid revealed their favorite actors to play the superhero.
While many still have doubts about it, some fans have it clear and want a Stranger Things star for the lead role. Part of the community believes that the role of Miles fits the actor very well, so he should be the one chosen from their perspective.
Fans ask for Caleb McLaughlin as Miles Morales
Fans of the arachnid believe that many actors can bring Miles Morales to life, but quite a few people agree that Caleb McLaughlin would be the best fit. The young actor has appeared in well-known films and series, but is best known for his role as Lucas Sinclair in Stranger Things.
"Caleb McLaughlin is clearly the easiest choice Hollywood could make for Miles Morales," stated a fan convinced that the actor will be the one to take the role. Some fans of the Netflix series agree, believing the character is a great fit for him.
"I can see Caleb McLaughlin as Miles," stated another fan who received approval from the community. However, this doesn't mean that McLaughlin is thrilled with the idea of playing Miles Morales.
The young actor stated some time ago that the character should not lose his Hispanic side, something he does not have. So he is not convinced he can be the character. From his perspective, the ideal actor should be chosen for a character like Miles.
It is worth remembering that Benny Emmanuel, Mexican actor, has already raised his hand to be Miles Morales. However, Sony has not confirmed so far who will have the honor of giving life to the character.
