The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available worldwide! While it is a day of celebration and rejoicing, it's obvious that many fans will have to wait until their workday ends to explore Link's new adventure. Among them is Naoki Yoshida, one of the most beloved producers and directors in the video game industry.
Today took place a new Live Letter from the Producer, a special broadcast where the latest news about Final Fantasy XIV is shared. As the producer and director of the project, Naoki Yoshida, also known as Yoshi-P, appeared on the stream to talk about the updates for the MMORPG's version 6.4.
Naoki Yoshida, producer of Final Fantasy XIV and XVI, plays The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and shows off his Switch
During the initial stages of the stream, the Japanese creative enters the scene and we can see that he's playing with his Nintendo Switch OLED. To no one's surprise, the title he was playing at that moment was none other than The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
According to a Twitter user, Toshio Murouchi, the global community producer for Final Fantasy XIV, sarcastically pointed out that Yoshi-P wasn't focused on the FF’ stream because he was playing the Nintendo game. “Seems like his heart's not in it today”, he said.
Naoki Yoshida shows his special edition Nintendo Switch with The Legend of Zelda to the camera and confirms that he's indeed playing the open-world title. Shortly after, he sets the console aside and proceeds to start the live stream of the Square Enix's MMORPG.
