It's been a few years since the last installment of the IP with which Capcom turned its proposal for the zombie genre. Dead Rising has been one of the most fun experiences in modern gaming, and after 4 installments, some wonder when there will be a comeback. Well, the good news might be closer than we think.
A report from Insider-gaming shared information from Jez Corden, a journalist from Windows Central, who responded to a comment on Twitter mentioning Capcom's franchise. He stated that those waiting for news about Dead Rising could receive them since the "horizon" shows something that will catch fans' attention.
Later, he mentioned that what he has heard from his sources is that the next Dead Rising would be a reboot, indicating Capcom's intention to leave behind the era of the first 4 games of the IP, distinctive of the time they came out, to make way for something renewed and maybe addressing the needs of current projects and standards.
So far, there is no official information from Capcom, but it's known that the Japanese company is having a great moment, and it's thought that now is the time when they can make some of the projects that fans want for their franchises come true.
