It seems that a lawsuit from Nintendo is on the way

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom will offer new and attractive mechanics that have not only caught the attention of players. We say this because a mobile game developer decided to make a clone of the highly anticipated game and copy some of its mechanics.

Of course, the project did not go unnoticed by franchise fans who were surprised by the developer's audacity. Everyone knows that Nintendo fiercely protects its franchises, so many believe that the mobile title developers will receive a lawsuit.

A video is circulating on forums and social media that shows Kung Fu Saga, a mobile game that looks familiar to fans expecting The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In it, we see a character very similar to Link and an open world too similar to Hyrule. The character has an identical ability to Recall, which allows Link to climb heights and explore sky islands. Additionally, he has a glider and the ability to combine objects to build powerful weapons. The video also shows various battles against various types of enemies.

After an investigation, players discovered that the video is a commercial to promote Kung Fu Saga, a title that doesn't actually look or play like what is shown. So they came to the conclusion that it is deceptive advertising.

On the other hand, they think Nintendo won't be happy when they see the commercial. So they believe they will try to remove the content and possibly prepare a lawsuit against the mobile game developers. You can see the video below:

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will arrive on May 12 for Nintendo Switch. Here you can see more news about this long awaited release.
