The partnership between LEGO and Nintendo continues to bear good fruit. Apparently, Nintendo would take advantage of the momentum of The Super Mario Bros. Movie not only to launch a Donkey Kong LEGO but also to bring together various members of the legendary DK Crew.
If you're a fan of Donkey Kong and his friends from the Kong Kingdom, we have excellent news for you, as LEGO confirmed that they are not only developing figures of the main character of the series, but also of other characters who have appeared in the Donkey Kong Country sub-series.
Through a video, LEGO revealed that in addition to Donkey Kong, there will be figures of Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, and even Funky Kong, one of the most beloved characters of the fans, mainly because of the memes he has generated.

If you want to get the complete DK Crew, apparently, you will have to buy several sets since in the video, it is possible to see that "each set is sold separately." However, no further details were shared about what they will include.
Remember that this is not the first time that LEGO has released sets of franchises that emerged from Super Mario. The company did something similar with Luigi's Mansion months ago, and it was a collection with several sets. That said, it is very likely that something similar will happen with the Donkey Kong collection, so we can expect other characters from the series such as Squawks, Rambi, Enguarde, or even King K. Rool to appear.
Something interesting is that this reinforces the idea that Nintendo has big plans prepared for Donkey Kong. The company not only confirmed that there will be an attraction from the franchise in its Super Nintendo World parks, but it is also rumored that Nintendo is preparing the return of the series through a new game.
