PlayStation Plus follows Xbox Game Pass and confirms another great day 1 release

Sony's service receives more and more games on its release day

PlayStation Plus is betting on one of the most striking benefits of Xbox Game Pass: day 1 releases. Proof of this is that another great game will be coming to Sony's service from its debut next month.

Through its blog, PlayStation finally revealed more details about Humanity, the new and unique title from Enhance, the studio behind Tetris Effect, Rez and other titles. Their new proposal already has a release date and users of the service will be able to enjoy it at no additional cost.

HUMANITY WILL COME TO PLAYSTATION PLUS ON ITS RELEASE DAY

Fans of Enhance can mark their calendars, as Humanity will debut on May 16. From that day on, it will be available on PlayStation Plus for Extra and Premium subscribers. The title will be available at no additional cost on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

There is also good news for PS VR and PS VR 2 users, as the title will be playable in virtual reality. The studio explained that they decided to launch their new work through PlayStation Plus as they want to reach as many players as possible from the premiere.

"The most exciting part of launching into PlayStation Plus Game Catalog is it guarantees a massive audience for our game’s robust user-generated content features: a ton of players will be out there creating, sharing, and playing each other’s custom-built stages, right from day one." Enhance said.

The quirky title will put players in the role of an adorable dog, who will be able to command huge hordes of people to accomplish certain objectives and solve puzzles. Humanity will increase in difficulty throughout its 90+ levels. In addition, customizable stages will inject plenty of replayability.
