One of the first games from Pokémon's dev is coming to Nintendo Switch Online

The highest tier of the subscription service will receive four more SEGA Genesis games

Nintendo continues to give players reasons to join the Nintendo Switch Online online service, and has just announced that four SEGA games will be added to the catalog, including one from Game Freak before they released Pokémon.

The highest tier of the subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, is supported by SEGA, which releases retro SEGA Genesis games every month. SEGA has announced the new games that will arrive before the end of April.

The standout title in the April 2024 lineup is undoubtedly Pulseman, one of Game Freak's early projects that was released before creating Pokémon, in 1994 for the Mega Drive (SEGA Genesis). Unfortunately, the game had not been available on modern platforms since its last release in 2009 for the Wii Virtual Console.

Not only that, but the selection also includes Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition, one of the editions of what is considered by many as Capcom's best fighting game series.

Finally, there are Flicky and Kid Chameleon, two platformer titles developed and published by SEGA in 1984 and 1992, respectively.

Best of all, all four games are now available in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack catalog, so anyone with an active subscription can enjoy them.
