Rocksteady confirmed "tough, but necessary" decision to delay their game

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has received a lot of criticism since we last saw it in a State of Play. Apparently, these criticisms echoed at Warner Bros. Discovery and Rocksteady, as the decision was made to delay it.

Through social media, the official accounts of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League confirmed that the game as a service will not arrive this year. Now, the game will debut on February 2nd, 2024, which means a delay of nearly 9 months.

In the statement, Rocksteady described this decision as "tough, but necessary" so that the game can be the high-quality experience that players deserve. Likewise, they took the opportunity to thank their community for all the support they have given to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League since it was shown.

"We made the difficult, but necessary decision to take the time to work on the game and make sure that it's the best quality for players.

Thanks to our amazing community for their continued support, patience, and understanding. There is much more to share in the coming months, and we are excited to see you in Metropolis next year," they explained.
