After a few months of waiting, Nintendo finally gave us an extensive look at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and its gameplay. Eiji Aonuma, the producer of the series, presented 10 minutes of gameplay where he showed its mechanics in action.

The creative confirmed that the game's development is complete, so there won't be any kind of delay. He also pointed out that Hyrule will look familiar, but that it will be different from Breath of The Wild. Especially due to the Sky Islands, which will take Link to the skies.

To ascend and explore the heights, Link will have a new ability called Recall. He will also be able to glide through the skies to get to know these mysterious locations. On the other hand, Aonuma presented new enemies for this adventure and confirmed that weapons will continue to wear out and break with use.

We were also able to discover another new ability called Fuse, which will allow the joining of several objects from the environments or weapons to, for example, create another type of weaponry. Thanks to this one, players will be able to experiment and find many useful combinations.

The same will happen with the Ultra Hand power, which will allow Link to use objects in his environment to build all kinds of transports as we saw in previous previews. Finally, the Ascend power was revealed, which will let Link transport himself to high places without having to climb for minutes at the risk of losing all his stamina.
