Bethesda had scheduled the release of Starfield for the first half of the year; however, plans have just changed. There is good news and bad news for gamers, as the long-awaited title will take longer than planned to arrive, but it already has a new release date.
On the other hand, its promised event also already has a date; however, it is still months away. To share this news, Bethesda released a new trailer that reveals more of the attractive world of the space title.
Release date and Starfield Direct are officially announced
Many players expected the game to arrive earlier or even in June, but the reality is different. Starfield was delayed to the second half of the year and will now debut on September 6. This is expected to be the final date and there will be no further delays. The title was originally planned for the end of last year. However, Bethesda decided to delay it to meet the expected quality quotas. The studio will now require even more time, so one of the most important Xbox releases is still months away.
Due to the delay, the presentation focused on the game will also take some time to arrive. We now know that the event will be called Starfield Direct and that it will be one of Bethesda's strong cards for the dates close to E3 2023.
