GTA VI could have its official announcement showcased this year

Everyone is wondering about Grand Theft Auto VI and its expected reveal; however, Rockstar has remained silent since last year's leaks. According to a well-known insider, gamers won't have to wait much longer to know the game, as its reveal would be scheduled for 2023.

Tez2 is an insider who has revealed important and accurate details about Rockstar and its projects. Now he thrilled the studio's fans with more information about the presentation and possible release window of Grand Theft Auto VI.

Tez2 surprised gamers with his recent statements, as he assured that he is sure that Grand Theft Auto VI will finally be revealed this year. He stated that "it is a fact" that we will see the first preview of the game in the coming months and that Rockstar is targeting 2024 or 2025 for the release.

"Their aimed-always-changing-not-set-in-stone deadline is holiday 2024. Which has been pushed back multiple times the past few years. Unfortunately, it could slip into early 2025 as well," the insider stated.

So, the debut of the new installment would still be quite far away, but Tez2 claims that Rockstar is doing its best to launch it as soon as possible. To do so, it could cut some of the planned content and release it later, according to Tez2.

"I personally see an announcement as a given this year. I don't think the upper management is in a position to delay further to holiday 2025/2026. Cutting more portions of the game to package into DLCs to release later on may be sustainable for management than delaying further," the insider added.

While Tez2 has proven to be reliable in the past, the reality is that nothing has been said for now. The same source expected the game's reveal for fall 2022, but nothing happened. So it's best to take their new report as just a rumor. But it would be great to watch an official trailer instead of keeping with the unfortunate footage leak that happened a few months ago.
