Beyond what is happening with the purchase of Activision Blizzard, Xbox continues to weave alliances with companies in the industry and this time has joined forces with a major publisher to be part of the presentation event of their upcoming video games and news. This time with a publisher that has a wide variety of titles published under their name and one of these games is Cities: Skylines.
Through a Twitter post on their official account, Paradox Interactive, a publisher specializing in strategy video games, announced its partnership with Xbox for a presentation event where it will show details of its upcoming titles, as well as the expansions and content that are coming soon to those already on the market.
In case you don't know, the Swedish company also has a division with development studios and is responsible for strategy games such as Cities: Skylines, Crusader Kings III, and Europa Universalis IV.
Paradox Interactive's event will take place on March 6 and will be hosted by Xbox. The publisher has highlighted the importance of having direct communication with its players and is also considering Xbox as part of it. At the same time, the Microsoft brand is giving a strong boost to its offer of games on PC with constant releases and PC Game Pass, demonstrating its intention to position itself again in that sector where it was relegated after the rise of platforms such as Steam and GOG.

It seems that Xbox has added a new and interesting ally and it only remains to wait a few days to find out what surprises Paradox Interactive has in store for fans of its strategy video games.
