E3 2023 is expected to be the triumphant return of the most important gaming event in the world. Although it will open its doors in the summer, there are still many doubts and fears surrounding it. In that vein, Ubisoft added to the community's concern when it hinted that the convention might be canceled. Luckily, it seems that's not the case.

In case you didn't hear, Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft's CEO, had a call with investors. There, he said that "if E3 happens," the French company would be there to reveal its new projects. These statements set off alarm bells, as it was noticeable that the executive did not take for granted the realization of the expected gaming event. Amid rumors and theories, ReedPop, the company responsible for the organization of E3 2023, spoke out to reassure the community.

In a press release sent to The Verge, Lance Fensterman, president of ReedPo, confirmed that E3 2023 is still on track and "full speed ahead." He also assured that they are satisfied with the progress so far and the community's commitment. "As we have confirmed exhibitors we are eager to share more as details get cemented and participants ready their own detailed plans," the executive said.

Lance Fensterman hinted that sooner rather than later they will unveil the list of companies attending the gaming event. He also commented that they will reveal more information about the "exciting new additions to the Remastered E3 2023." in the coming weeks. Finally, he said that he will be sending out the first round of registration approvals for content creators and media on Friday.

With these statements, the community should be a little more at ease. However, there are still doubts about the companies that will be part of the lineup of attendees. We should remember that, a few weeks ago, a report surfaced that Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation will not be at E3 2023. As a reminder, E3 2023 will take place June 13-16 in Los Angeles, California.
