PlayStation Plus offers a huge library of games in its Extra, Premium, and Deluxe levels. What many expect from the service is to play the great Sony exclusives, but the reality is that not all of them are there. However, new information seems to tell us how long we will have to wait to see games like God of War: Ragnarök and The Last of Us: Part I on PlayStation Plus.

This morning, one of the most important PlayStation Plus leakers told us which games will be coming to Premium and Extra in February. What is striking is that among them is Horizon Forbidden West, one of the most important exclusives that Sony has released in recent years. Soon after, Sony confirmed that this exclusive would be part of its February lineup.

The above could be a clue to how long we will have to wait to see games like God of War: Ragnarök and The Last of Us: Part I on PlayStation Plus. We say this since Horizon Forbidden West will arrive on the service one year after its launch. It is worth mentioning that other exclusives or temporary exclusivities from Sony also arrived until they had been on the market for 12 months.

Here are some examples:

-Returnal was released in April 2021; it came to PS Plus in June 2022 (service launch)
-Demon's Souls was released in December 2020; it came to Plus in June 2022 (service launch)
-Final Fantasy VII: Remake Intergrade was released in June 2021; it came to Plus in July 2022
-Horizon Forbidden West was released in February 2022; Coming to Plus in February 2023

Of course, this rule does not apply to all games. After all, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is about to celebrate 2 years on the market, and it still hasn't made it to PlayStation Plus. Thus, the rule is not entirely rigid.

WHEN WILL GOD OF WAR: RAGNARÖK AND THE LAST OF US: PART I COME TO PS PLUS?

However, if Sony follows Horizon Forbidden West's lead with other games, then we'll see the following exclusives coming to PlayStation Plus this year:

-Gran Turismo 7 would arrive on PS Plus in March 2023
-The Last of Us: Part I would arrive on PS Plus in September 2023
-God of War: Ragnarök would arrive on PS Plus in November 2023

We remind you that the above is merely speculation and nothing that Sony has confirmed. That said, everything indicates that a year has passed since its launch for the great exclusives of Sony to be part of PlayStation Plus.
