Rumbleverse, Battle Royale edited and published by Epic Games, has its days numbered and will soon join the long list of free-to-play games that sought to jump on the bandwagon of online multiplayer trends. The good news is that there will be a refund for users.

RUMBLEVERSE DREAM ONLY LASTED A FEW MONTHS

Today, the developer Iron Galaxy Studios informed that its Battle Royale with Brawler proposal, Rumbleverse, will close its operations on February 28, news that comes in the framework of its second and last season.

According to the information and without revealing the causes of this closure, the studio informed that today's update will not allow access to the store so that users do not spend more money and as a farewell gesture they will release all the content so that those interested can give it a try before it disappears.

On the other hand, Iron Galaxy revealed that in the coming days, they will inform about the refund process for users as they believe it is the right thing to do for those who spent money on free-to-play content: "Any player who has spent money on Rumbleverse is eligible for a refund of money spent on or in the game. This includes the purchase of a Rumbleverse Battle Pass or Brawlla Bills on any platform. We will share a FAQ page with additional refund information soon."

Surprisingly, this title became very well-liked by its community. All those casual players of this title and those who recognized the work of the studio that developed it are saddened by this news, but we all wish the best for this great team.

In case you missed it: Apex Legends Mobile will close less than a year after launching

The studio and Epic Games thanked the players who joined the Rumbleverse community, a Battle Royale that failed to connect with more users and therefore could not compete against the big games in that scene. It is sad to see how the community says goodbye to a game that brought so much joy and fun, but there's nothing for us to do in this type of situation.

Will you be playing this title until the very last day? Let us know in the comments!
