Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most anticipated games for this year. It is not for less because it is shaping up to be the video game that fans of the Harry Potter universe always wanted. This time, it's gaming taking over the franchise and Avalanche opted for an open-world proposition that entails a design of main and secondary missions.

During an interview with Moira Squier, Narrative Director and Writer, conducted by GamesRadar, it was revealed that Hogwarts Legacy would have more than 100 side quests, but the detail is that what happens in them will impact the main story and its events. In this sense, the creator assured that it was a difficult challenge to design the entire mission tree and its consequences. Still, she assures that the result has been good: "the main story is complicated and attractive and involves a variety of characters and different points of view, But by giving the player moments of choice throughout the game, we allow them to tell their own version of that epic story. Interacting with someone on a side mission will affect how you interact with them in the main story, and vice versa. The order in which the player chooses to complete these missions will affect their story and gameplay. Everything is interconnected."

The expectation around Hogwarts Legacy is high and the game has been among the best sellers (in the pre-sale phase) on Amazon and Steam, showing that there is confidence in the Avalanche project. On the other hand, the controversy has not been long in coming, and the scandal that JK Rowling's statements generated a long time ago has been taken up again against the video game.
