During the Bethesda and Xbox Developer_Direct broadcast that happened two days ago, January 25, a shadow drop was made of one of the games that have attracted the attention of many people.

As you may already know from the title, it's Hi-Fi RUSH, a game developed by Tango Gameworks who have great horror games in their portfolio such as The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo. And now we can witness a speedrun that finishes the game in much less time than estimated when playing it for the first time.

Hi-Fi RUSH is a kind of colorful hack-and-slash where we meet Chai, a young aspiring rock star who will fight against a sinister futuristic conglomerate. The interesting thing is that the fights will revolve around music, as it will be very important to keep the rhythm when attacking. Thus, the developers point out that it is not a simple button masher, although they point out that both experienced and novice players will be able to enjoy the vertiginous fights.

The HowLongToBeat website gives us an idea of the estimated time to finish Hi-Fi RUSH and tells us that it is a total of 8 hours to do the main story. Although the game is still very new and we can expect that this number may be somewhat lower, but DemonicRobots decided to make the first speedrun of this great title finishing in about three and a half hours. You can confirm it by watching the video below:

In case you missed it: Creators of The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo announce Hi-Fi RUSH at the Developer_Direct

Hi-Fi RUSH is a game that has exceeded the expectations of many, and the fact that it was announced as a shadow drop without a single previous announcement seems to have been totally effective and more and more people are buying it on Steam, and playing it from Xbox Games Pass. It may be a bit of a rush but it's likely to be a contender for several nominations at The Game Awards 2023.

What about you, how will you be playing this game? Or, have you played it already? Let us know in the comments!
