Critically acclaimed narrative adventure Road 96 has announced its next prequel title

Road 96 is "an ever-evolving story-driven adventure inspired by Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, and Bong Joon-ho. Made by the award-winning creators of Valiant Hearts and Memories Retold." This unique title brought a story that unwraps a handful of decisions throughout the game, making it a title to play more than once to enjoy every single ending there is to find.

Knowing all of this, we are glad to share the recent announcement made by the French studio Digixart which revealed its prequel Road 96: Mile 0 where you can alternate roles playing as Zoe and Kaito throughout the game.

What do we know about it?

In Road 96: Mile 0 we'll get to understand the previous event of Road 96 and what made Zoe flee from her home. In this title, you'll also have musical experiences from which Digixart state that "the musical segments of the game are a real emotional experience that put you into inner worlds of Zoe and Kaito. You will have to make choices and ride and dodge to find your way through these beautiful psychedelic trips."

This prequel is coming on April 4, 2023, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. And the trailer featured a song called "Land Locked Heart," made by American synthwave band The Midnight, which also announced the game's trailer via Twitter and asked fans if they wanted the full song to be released.

Road 96: Mile 0 brings us a compelling new story that focuses on Zoe's past and we will surely find ourselves with the premise of the previous title in which we can experience many different endings that depend on our decisions. A title that should be on our wish list.
