For many gamers, the beginning of 2023 was going to be very exciting, especially because of the great promising title Forspoken, a Square Enix game that will come to PlayStation 5 and PC.

And although the game looks amazing with its graphics and story, not long ago it was decided to release a demo for PlayStation 5, but sadly, it did not receive the expected feedback from the players, as the demo had various errors and that caused the game to receive to much critics.

For example, the new update for Forspoken adds the option to remap buttons so that you have a control scheme that suits you. On the other hand, enemies you've locked on will stay that way for longer even when they move off-camera. Also, the text size of different parts of the game was adjusted.

However, Square Enix was not going to stand still, so they decided to release a new update for the demo to improve the experience.

THE FORSPOKEN PATCH WILL ALSO FIX PERFORMANCE ISSUES

Perhaps the most important thing about the update is that it will fix various technical issues with Forspoken. Let's remember that this test version debuted with several performance and visual problems that caused it to be widely criticized.

This shows a commitment by Square Enix to demonstrate that Forspoken will be better than the poor impression that its demo left on many. Will it be enough for many of the destroyers to change their minds and buy it? That remains to be seen, but it is a gesture that speaks well of the developers.

Forspoken is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC on January 24, 2023.
