One Piece Odyssey is just a few days away from release, and knowing that many gamers are looking forward to playing this great title as soon as possible, Xbox has done something about it. Since January 10 you can play the One Piece Odyssey demo on Xbox X Series X|S and your progress in the demo can transfer to the full game.
Game Overview
In this story, we accompany the so beloved Straw Hat Pirates Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook. At the beginning of this adventure, they all get separated on a mysterious island when pulled into a storm and they must find each other and have the whole crew together again, but enemies will make it a little difficult to do.
Each of the Straw Hats has their own special abilities which are also recognized from being witnessed in the original One Piece series. But the abilities will not only be useful in battle as they can be used around the map to facilitate movement. And this title brings its exclusive "Dramatic Scene" mechanic where you must defeat an enemy with a particular member or in a certain number of turns to obtain a huge boost in leveling and helps you quickly progress through the game.
On this Wednesday, January 11, the game's launch trailer was also released on Bandai Namco Entertainment's official YouTube channel and you can watch it below.

Even though the announced demo is for Xbox Series X|S, the title will release on January 13, 2023, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC as well.
